More than 14 million tons of styrofoam packaging is produced each year and almost all of it eventually ends up in landfills and waterways. Styrofoam has a huge environmental impact and can take upto 500 years to degrade in landfill.
At Metapac we have developed MetaFlexShield (MFS) a fully sustainable solution to replace styrofoam boxes. The sustainable alternative can be used for any temperature sensitive shipment like fresh food delivery, frozen food delivery, seafood, meats, pharmaceuticals and more.
What is MetaFlexShield (MFS) ?
MFS is a modular solution comprising of multiple elements made of proprietary materials to match the performance of EPS coolers.
A combination of these elements is used for any temperature sensitive shipment and is a replacement for EPS coolers ranging from 0.75" to 2.25" thickness. It is customized depending on your application, temperature to be maintained and the duration.
